SOIL NINJA - Fine Semi-Hydro
Semi-hydroponics is a completely different style of growing substrate to soil., but when correctly used can achieve exceptional results. The different kinds of porous aggregates in this blend wicks water upwards so that roots always have small quantities of water to absorb. This, in combination with the huge number of airspaces created by the irregular shapes ensures that the perfect water balance of Oxygen and water are available to the roots.
This way of growing is perfect for use in a self-watering pot insert or Arois pots with drainage holes along both the bottom and sides. Simply top up your water reservoir in the decorative pot, and let the semi-hydro mix’s wicking properties slowly bring the water upwards to the roots.
